BTW you may want to add a gurney flap at the rear of the bonnet.

Good luck, Jonathan
Thanks Jonathan, seen the pics about a year ago would have been nice to see it in action driving

Gurney flap at the rear of the bonnet? any pics?
No, I was thinking along the lines of the raised section at the rear of the wedge series II bonnet to help the streamlines over the windscreen both to help the windscreen wipers and the overall CD for the car. (Remember that TVR also curved the bonnet to a tighter rad than the shell to aid ventillation but with the scoop that you have you may not need that.)

The general shape of the scoop looks good, getting rid of the heat from the engine bay and trying to cool the plenum chamber but I do wonder how you're going to get enough air in. Venturi ducts at the front of the bonnet would seem to be a good idea, like this car: Could they also feed the air filter?

Would be great to look at the car sometime. Merry Christmas, Jonathan

You can see in both pics plenty of adjustment in seating position.

Steve,
What is the latest on the M project. I have left the fold and purchased a 944S2 for my sins. There does not appear to have been an update on your project recently. Any progress always of interest.

Sorry for the thread hijack, I know it's no LS, but I'm excited. My brother was kind enough to input my engine's spec's on his engine analysis software, last night.

That's some incentive to keep at it.

Best,
B.

Thanks Steve. I'm happy to be making progress again. Buttoned my Moto Guzzi back together, over the weekend, too. Still needs more sorting, though.

How's your M coming along?

In three weeks time i have a weeks holiday,so i should fit the lightweight bonnet to the frame, fit new hinges along with the ally rad.

I've made the diff cradle, somehow i need to find the positions of the lugs on the chassis to mount the diff and cradle.

Progress is slow because of the bespoke parts i have to make, will be worth it though yes

Amen, brother. Picking up a freshly cleansed cylinder head before work, today. Intake, injectors (bought this week), and (huge) injector rails going to California for matching. WUAHAHAHA!
