PH meet #3!!

I've proposed another meeting, at Chatsworth, in Derbyshire, on Sunday 26th. May, starting 12.30pm. car parking costs £1, if I remember, and you can park down by the river. There's a nice restaurant/cafe, loads of spiffing driving roads in the area, and the house itself is woth a visit. www.chatsworth-house.co.uk.

Already had some interest on other threads, but let's see a few more putting their hands up for permission to attend! Bring food, wine, and portable barbie!!

Hmmm that's the week end immediately after Back Home. My wife likes TVRs but I am not sure about 2 TVR week-end in a row. I guess it'll be largely down to what the weather is like... Mind you that could be the occasion for a nice week-end in Peak National Park !

Dont drive through Matlock on the way there - whenever I have driven a TVR to Matlock I have had loads of abuse from local youths! Go in a Vauxhall with wide wheels instead and wheel spin at every junction.

Back Home is in May, Mania is in July, so what about doing PH Meet#3 in June? Personally I can't do the 22-23 but then, that shouldn't stop anyone if the majority can do it.

Should be able to make the 26th, as someone said, all dates around summer will clash with something. Can you make sure you book the weather like Johno did?

O.K. I've checked on the 9th. June (Sunday). There are no major events at Chatsworth, and Ted's calendar says the Tuscan challenge is at Spa.

Powertour doesn't appear to have an event that weekend. There's an Elvington event the day before, but not under TVRCC/Pistonheads banner.

There doesn't seem to be any national TVRCC events, although there may be some regional ones. So, shall we say 9th. June?

I won't slag you off if you pick the 26th May, or any other day that I can't make. Might reserve the right to send some mates to throw cowpats though.

That's unusual - Matlock is the place where any Northern biker worth his ready rub goes for a Sunday jolly. Bikers love TVR's, and they'd love to see a convoy, or even 2 or 3, rumbling through. It's worth passing through just to see the number of bikes you can cram into one little town!!
