Hi, it was sent on 27th August along with lots of other orders, so I hope it arrives soon. It was sent recorded so will need to be signed for. Unfortunately Royal Mail can't do anything about it until 15days after the date it should have arrived, so if you can wait another week then if it still has not arrived let me know and I can put in a claim for it and send out another badge.

Cheers

Tim

Tim it just arrived this morning. The quality is far superior to the original Union Jack badges. If you have any side badges Id like to have some to replace the inferior ones I have at the moment.

If anyone has fitted badges to a silver Cerb or any silver TVR for that matter could they post a photo.
Thanks
Bob

Thank you so much Tim, got mine today smile.

Quick Q before I stick them on, any specific prep beforehand other than cleaning paintwork with a dry clean cloth?

Also, how do you guys know "where" to place them exactly? A template would be useful as I want both sides identical but the one I quickly made out of paper turned out like this (ignore the coffee stains wink):

Suffice it to say I won't be using that one biggrin

I think I'll do it about 2cm below the side light but am worried I won't get it perfectly horizontal or midline...

EDIT: Ended up doing it by measuring the length down (marks on paper) and spirit level with fine adjustments by eye:

Here's a wider shot of the other side to get a better idea of how it looks on the whole car (I find it hard to judge "overall" look by just an extreme close up):

Just wanted to pass on my thanks for the effort put into this by Timja. I was working overseas when the badges were sent out and I had to request they be delayed for me which Tim quite happily accommodated.

Returned home and got a nice present a few days later with the union jacks. smile Excellent group buy. smile

So what he you done with your old bonnet badges? I stumbled across mine on the garage floor at the weekend, cleaned it up, found a box the same size and a can of black paint and now have a display plinth for the SMTS model of my Chim.
