As Peter says a bit of messing about 14 runs I did 1 of them was very slow
A very good weekend even with some small problems and the power that did it was less than 300
What was your best time Peter?

Aw you're making me blush boys. Thanks. I hope it inspires those who have not done it to get their Tivs fettled and ready for an epic drive. You definitely wont be disappointed. driving

(P.S. the room at the Balmoral Hotel was free in case anyone's wondering.....hehe)

Took my son out for a blast in the Tamora on Sunday evening. Oh wow; what was I thinking putting it up for sale?

Really like that front end but to my eyes the number plate is too big. I'm not sure how much smaller it could be though and remain legal. I'm waiting for the V5 to come through for my new Chimaera to put my own personalised plate on it, but the current one seems just way too big (wonder if it restricts airflow into the engine?).

Funnily enough, the unrestricted front end and lower number plate position was one of the things that appealed to me about my car. I could probably get away with a slightly smaller plate but to be honest I can't be bothered with the potential aggro it might get.

As it happens the private plate it's wearing came with the car, so actually has zero significance to me!

These cars really are ageless to me. I think it's the fact they have lovely curves and no real straight angles. Love 'em all!

laughPeter what I meant to say is, hopefully I haven't put the mockers on the fact that I have no problems with my plate restricting air to pass to keep cool, and Ive never been stopped by the police for having an under sized plate . wink(ps see you at Brands Dec 1st )

Nice run out to Barlaston in the autumnal sunshine this afternoon. It is the home of Wedgwood, where I worked and met my wife nearly 30 years ago but I'm not one to bear grudges smile it is still a nice place to visit.

Coming from a TR4 where the heater is best described as like having an asthmatic octogenarian blowing their tepid breath on you, the powerful and efficient heater in the Chimaera is a welcome revelation.

That looks like the size I'm looking for. Is it ok at MOT time?

The roof off normally sorts that problem out, and with some TLC under the dash with the heater blower flaps.I keep hearing complains from the Griff forum about a hot cabin, but those boys always keep their lids on, their a strange bunch smile
