That lower bumper really finishes the car off nicely, although I think flared wheel arches with beefy tyres are also needed!

Who makes that? Is it expensive to put on?

Your car should be very similar when done. My car is also Spectraflair Black, done by Revival (formerly Powers Bodyshop) in Northampton about 2 years ago.

Looks like this with no sun

Brilliant news - I'm glad I'm not alone. How do you find living with it? Any tips? (Thank Christ someone else has it - now it's not unknown.... Sorry about getting the colour!)

Ha no worries on getting the colour, would be great to see them side by side one day to compare the colour against the lines of the different cars.

As for tips on living with it, I generally clean it once a week, not with any fancy polishes or waxes and it looks great.

Looking forward to seeing your updated thread once you've picked it up, I know you won't be disappointed.

I'm sure we can sort something out - it would be really interesting. Cheers for the tips - and as soon as I have something to post, I will! biggrin

I fully intend to get better pics and vids in future because I like seeing other peoples' TVRs. It warms the soul. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I wish there were more vids of our own model of TVR to watch because I've seen the ones from years ago enough times now. There's not much about for the older Tivs.

A fellow substance abuser i hold in high regard hates those cutouts. The pistons always break at the thinnest point between the cutout and the top ringland. He is a heavy abuser and cylinder pressures are rather high.
True on the 5.0, they are very thin but the crown of the 4.0 pistons is mucho thicker!

Presume the girlfriend is to the left, just out of shot hehe

You'll find looking through the viewfinder whilst taking the picture yields better results. biggrin

I hope that helps
