Here we have the Sagaris II. The only totally new car, one that had no connections with anything that went before, that was produced after PW sold the company. Image courtesy of Andy (My Sheen) Hills.

Yup, not that it looks like a previous model, has pretty much the same engine, has the wheels many of the previous model are fitted with, shares pretty much everything with the previous model, but doesn't have the cool exhausts. Nope, completely different.

Nope, completely different. Plus, from what I remember at the time, this was effectively one of the part-finished abandoned Sag's that was still on the production line when the factory closed. The ex-factory guys finished it off. I think it is fair to say that Smellyendski didn't do anything new, except eventually close the business for good.

Differences from what I recall were, windscreen washer jets were better on Sag 2 (fitted into bonnet), plus it had rear facing exhausts... I think that was about the sum of it...

So the exhausts and diffuser maybe, not really a mk2 then.
I quite like the rear hinged bonnet on the re-launch car, still not sure about those 5 spoke wheels, especially in black, the 6 spoke wheels they used on the red? show car were perfect imo.

Actually, I think the one-piece bonnet was a Sag 2 introduction too.....
