Didn't realise the two things were mutually exclusive ; )
Much to my embarrassment, they're not. I never even wash the daily drivers, yet feel a strange compulsion to wash, rinse, dry and polish the TVR. I am now on gaffer tape glue and stone chip removal duties before going to a BBQ at my TVR specialist's house on Saturday evening and Porsche Sunday Service on...........Sunday.No, its just the number of people who spend a fortune upgrading everything in sight, yet never take their P&J legally over 70mph. I am seriously baffled. I got some truly shocked responses when i told a few TVR owners that i was taking it on a TRACK
BTW, I was doing about 130 down the main runway in that clip, its the lack of hedgerow or armco flying past that makes it look slow. Next lap I was overtaken by a BMW M5 doing 184......good on him, using the car for what it was made. And much to my surprise, the Jaguar test driver who took my car out later that afternoon was pleasantly surprised how well set up the car was. And its a totally standard 400, just on second hand Paradas at £40 a tyre for a bit more grip.

Instead of polishing your pride and joy, why not try using it for the manufacturer's intended purpose?

Good on both of you, including posting going straight on at the top of the hill. Nice to see the cars being used properly, not just polished. And sorry, I just failed to get the one handed joke until it was pointed out, especially as I have referred to some of the polishers as one handed drivers before myself.....Gassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
