Industrial estates have proved to be reliable sources of old or interesting vehicles, and this one in Bedlington was no exception. After finding a compound containing a Carlton Diplomat, my jaw must have dropped when just along the road was this place full of dead TVRs. A couple of "wide boys" in a Mazda RX8 had zoomed past me and entered this place, which made me cautious when taking the pictures.
for parts seekers or TVR rescuers biggrin

Isn't that just TVR Dean's yard?

The Tuscan on the transporter behind the Sag.
One day these brainless breakers will realise that if they bothered to protect (ie COVER) such rare vehicles with practically irreplaceable interiors and other parts, they might make a few more sales and a bit more profit. rolleyes

Almost beyond belief.

Lovely level of work - not my colour scheme, but really well executed.

Indeed, nicely done and I like teh colours. Refresh my memory, was the Alegro style wheel standard on the Sag?

Thanks.

I'm going to write a thread on it today with pre/post pics, but looks like today is going to be rather busy now, so I'll post the details this evening when I get back home.

Don - The colour scheme is pretty much the same as it was from factory - red and grey. However, the seats are now more grey than red. They originally were red everywhere which was too much of a blood bath for my taste so we toned the amount of red down slightly in favor of more neutral grays. biggrin

Hi Rich

No, I had that steering wheel installed myself and then in the re-trim we made it dual tone.

Dave did excellent work on it! Rest of details and pics tonight.

Thanks!

Makes perfect sense! Oh yes - yours was grey originally, wasn't it?

Yup. Still works well with the new colours though, else would have changed the colour scheme completely. lick

I think the spectators & photographers add to the sense of occasion, as you say great picture.
