Don't expect anyone will get any hot start problems this morning !

The drop in the picture is actually frozen solid.

One of the few non-raining times when it is acceptable for a TVR owner to drive with the roof on.....when it's frozen to the rear screen section !

Refurbished or new? Look like the latter due to the light grey back face.

Where did you get the from (or refurbished) and how much, etc.

They are the OZ split rims which were an optional extra on the Precat Griffs....... they have been refurbed, but I had the rims adonized rather polished.

I found the golf ball on the coast road out near Cromer........ not my region, but wanted to stretch the cars legs after years of niggles and unreliability...... all fixed by new ecu

Wow, I had to look that one up!

They are refurbished!!! I bought a set of Spiders that were "smoked" finish, but had a couple of light scratches and weren't "perfect", also I have a light blue / silver Pearl colour (actually a Ferrari paint) and thought that bright silver suited my Cerbera better than a darker smoked finish (horses for courses and all that)....

They were done at Metal Magic in Barnsley. I would thoroughly recommend them - they have refurbished multiple sets of alloys for me (I buy a second set of alloys for my other 2 cars to use for winter tyres, and get the alloys refurbished; and they have also refurbished the set of Spiders that are currently on the Cerbera after an unfortunate wheel - kerb incident, after being forced into the kerb by an oncoming bus grrrrr).

The rims and inside are also perfect:

Depends on the size of wheel (I've had some refurbished for my X5 family wagon (still with petrol V8, natch) that were 19") but figure on about £45 - £50 per wheel.

Living "oop North" has it's advantages!!!!

I was initially referred to Metal Magic by Russell at RaceProved - he'd tried a few other places more local to Sheffield but wasn't as happy with the results.

Personally, I've been very happy with the service from Jo at Metal Magic, and also the results. A lot depends on the original condition of the alloys - for instance a set of alloys for the X5 I use for winter tyres were badly pitted, and whilst the finish looks good on them now refurbished, there are still some slight dimples if you look closely. Both this set of spiders and the ones currently on my Cerbera came up "like new", I'm very happy with the results. I went for a finish that was just slightly more "sparkly silver" than the original "flat" metallic silver that the original spiders came in.

Thanks for that.

Exactly the colour and what I need for my RL7s.

Now let's see, one set of road wheels and one set of track wheels, 8 x £50.00 each =£400.00, bargain!

These look ok but pictures lie, they are a bit tatty!
