Has anyone else carried out this conversion.
Are there any negatives to the running of the car afterwards.
What are the advantages.
What about engine breather hose and other connections in air box.

As said above: Working in the engine bay is easier, car runs better if cats are out, sounds more evil (like a dog that barks).
Everything of the old box came out (in fact it is much cheaper as a new air box...).
