Wouldnt know about such things wink did run a bike sized plate but got stopped twice on my very early jaunts out (asking for trouble when the law are bored) no problem with this one

It made a big difference to my temps when the number plate was reduced and the old style grille was replaced.
The plate is not strictly legal really but there are a lot out there.

Done the same, took me a while but no regrets (original always in the boot just in case)

Great place to do that, I was usually mountain biking in the area..many moons ago.

Funnily enough, the unrestricted front end and lower number plate position was one of the things that appealed to me about my car. I could probably get away with a slightly smaller plate but to be honest I can't be bothered with the potential aggro it might get.

As it happens the private plate it's wearing came with the car, so actually has zero significance to me!

For anyone who has not done the North Coast tour, NC500, you really, absolutely must. A random selection of pics from our NC500 in June this year. Actually NC1,000 as we started in Ayr and finished in Edinburgh. driving Apologies for no car shots frown

For those who don't know northern and western Scotland......that second photo is of an A road, and around any bend you might find...



....sheep in the middle of the road.
