I can understand your frustration, but on a different level

I've just replaced the 2 piston Smart engine with one that has the requisite number of pistons, but on the way back from the the MOT centre yesterday the timing chain mechanism gave up - thank you so much...

I feel for you Paul. Some times it just don,t seam fair. One season a few years ago, I had 20 starts and 18 DNF,s. I hope my luck will return for 2017 as I have replaced my broken engine with a new shiny full fat one from JE. Will be putting it in the whole early new year.

You are very generous suggesting there is any comparison between my shopping trolley woes and your rocket.

I wish you luck and look forward to seeing your future successes.

Very nice Perry. It's amazing how the sum of the many metal parts, (and fibreglass) make up a TVR!

Perry, an old Irish friend of mine once told me that if it wasn't for bad luck, he wouldn't have any luck at all.

I think that's what is meant by 'the luck of the Irish'.

I hope you have a really good season next year!
