Does it reside there? A personal favourite of mine. I may have to have a looksy as I'm not far away. Maybe this could be a South East Kent Region drive out one Sunday?

Quick question that may have been asked before but cant find anything relating to it.

Does anyone take their dog in their TVR.

I have a Tuscan, and a Cocker Spaniel who always goes anywhere that myself and my wife do, but she is so keen to look out the window (prefers looking out the back than forwards or side) and thus is fine in the boot of the Golf or TT, but wont sit on the footwell floor of the Tusc.

Now, the rear shelf of the Tuscan looks to be perfect size for her to comfortably sit on, but I am not prepared to do it unless she is wearing her harness so that she is contained in event of accident and also doesnt do myself or wfie any damage if we brake suddenly etc........

So, is it possible to fit anchor points for her to be attached to?
haven't re-read the thread but in answer to the question, [with another] Wasn't one of the requirements of P.Wheeler that accommodation should be made for dog's? ie; the shelf behind seats? [that's two questions I know]
One of my Griffs' had racing harness anchor points in the rear [of which I should've spotted and had a correspondingly thrashed engine with problems] banghead Anyhow, water under and all that, they were perfect for dog harnessing thumbup

I took my Saluki and my Afghan for an outing, in the 2500M, once. O N C E !

They did not enjoy the experience. Having them in my TR4 was little better. (Both were 27"-28") at the withers

Best regards,
Bernard.

Sounds good to me. I've not been for a few months so weather permitting I may call in.

From the other thread, Shep passed way a couple of years ago.

The Tam with seat covers and Shep the border collie, only took him out a couple of times, sports exhaust and collie meant it got a bit embarrassing with every one pointing laugh

Nice thread revival. I started this one while I had the Tuscan, and now this week will be back in a Tvr again. We have s second dog now so there will be room in the back seats of the Cerbera for both of them.

Nice pics, Woody used to go on the parcel shelf when little(was he ever)then progressed to passenger seat with harness, would have to take the seat out now for him...... but he still likes the parcel shelf
I *LOVE* this photo in so many ways ... biggrin
We've had a new addition since then, Molly likes the 'S' too, don't think we'd get both in though

In the Welsh mountains a few years ago, you can see the silhouette of our Lab sitting on the back shelf, she now sits in the back of the T350 when neccesary but have to be careful on sunny days as it gets quite warm through the glass

Love that!

Sorry Shep is no longer with you. We have a Collie and a Westfield and have been debating a good replacement
