Very much looking forward to this. My last (B7) RS4 hit a GPS 167 before the ahem 155 limiter kicked in, so it'll be interesting to see where it's set on my B8
Still trying to work on getting limiter removed in time though....

Interesting. Was that much before the timing beams/braking point?

I ran my standard B8 S4 at VMAX Deutschemax earlier in the year. With a strong headwind keeping numbers down for most, the best I saw was 162mph on the timing display and 161mph on my Racelogic GPS.

Sounds like I was likely not far off the limiter and would probably of hit it without the strong headwind.

Amazingly at that speed my speedo was matching the GPS, not over reading at all.

It wasn't too far from the timing point, even with a decent corner exit speed. It maybe had a couple of extra mph, but no more
My gps was from a phone app, so I'm yet to see 'official' results to verify
Acceleration was good in comparison to a lot of cars there, but after 100mph'ish, lack of torque was evident
