What was the speed Andy?

Would love to do another Vmax but I don't think my 7 would be much good!

Andy, it was the only car you could still hear when crossing the speed sensors, and that was from the other end of the straight. I did video it but Tim (Shmee150) is the only person able to upload... Still, a sound that sticks in your memory, and great to finally set and hear an F1 at full throttle.

Again, would love to know what speed you were doing!

Great video, sounds almost like its supercharged? The movement of the wiper indicates that it's a serious speed whatever the numbers say!

I spoke to Andy after his runs and the car reached its top speed of 185mph which is due to it being fitted with shorter gearing than the road cars. My first V Max (in the white Aston Vantage S Roadster) and I absolutely loved it. Great to see so many rare aqnd expensive cars being used and enjoyed. Thanks for bringing the F1 Andy biggrin

So why the lane swap?

Having had to avoid some tt whilst doing over 200mph that did the same to me I'd say, if your out front but only doing 185 listen to the briefings next time.

If the windscreen wiper could talk, it would be saying "aaarrrggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!"
