I don't think the bug doing 225mph at Vmax was hotted up in terms of power. It did 200mph in the standing mile, which is actually the slowest i have heard of. The others being 201 and 204.

It just occurred to me the bug has been around for a decade and it's taken this long for someone to bring one to Vmax. Better late than never i suppose.

It was tuned. An extra 221hp and 329 ft/lb at 3200 rpm so more powerful than a Super Sport/Vitesse.

Here's the reality.

16.4 (1001 hp) vs TheFezza (789+161 hp)

Vitesse (1184 hp) vs Agera R (approx 1000 hp on pump gas) 30-220+ mph

Vitesse (1184 hp) vs factory Agera R (1140 hp on E85) 0-186+ mph

16.4 (1001 hp) vs Agera S (1030 hp on pump gas) 0-186+ mph

16.4 (1001 hp) vs manual CCXF (800 hp and change)

16.4 (1001 hp) vs Macca F1 (618 hp)

16.4 (1001 hp) vs Aventador (700 hp)

16.4 (1001 hp) vs Zonda F (650 hp).

Tl;dr: in standard spec it's barely quicker than a 800 hp car and will invariably lose and lose big against cars with 1000+ hp.

That just more confusing as a hotted up bug should be much faster than 200 in the mile. Actually seeing as it equaled the one 1, with it's much better power to weight, at 225 it terms of top speed the driver probably wasn't trying on the launch.
