Sorry to invade, but we're restoring a mk3 GT6 at the mo...

What's the feeling towards Magenta(the original colour)??

Any feedback, would be gratefully accepted.!!

I had a mk4 spit in magenta and thought it really suited the spit/gt6 shape. I've also had a tr6 in this colour and sold it after a year because I couldn't get on with a purple TR. Your car your choice I suppose, there aren't many magenta GT's about and with it being the cars original colour is a bonus. Magenta has always been a marmite colour amongst my triumph nerd chums. I've had a few mk3's and my fav colour has always been Mimosa, another 70's colour that doesn't float everyone's boat smile

My Stag is God Awful Russet Brown, still not grown on me after 10 yeras, but I think Id prefer that to Magenta.

I think Mimosa looks great on GT6s, and also Stags. But on a TR6 it looks horrible, IMO. I had a magenta TR6, but it had been resprayed Pimento before I took ownership, thankfully. Agree that a nice shiny magenta GT6 or Spit looks the dogs, as we used to say.

Pity the poor sod with a turd-brown Stag wink

Do it you know ya wanna. If it hasn't already got overdrive fit it. Pop in a 3.27 diff for comfortable high speed cruising, spin on oil filter conversion as this greatly helps the 2L lump with oil pressure on start up. Six branch manifold with sports exhaust gives a glorious sound from idle to flat out smile

Wire wheels and red cruise lights with US stag badges makes a brown stag look very good, I have a white stag and wire wheels are a no-no with white but the cruise lights and US stag badges work well.
