I'm going down on the Tuesday night in my TR8...
REALLY? You have one of the 2722 TR8s built between 1980 and 1981! (or is it actually a TR7 with a Rover V8)?
If your up for the drive we're looking to leave the circuit around 10AM Friday for a ~30 mile jolly through Arnage and Fay, up to Conlie on the back roads, then down into St. Saturnin on the quiet, straight, fast D304.
I've killed my mail server at the moment but if your interested mail me where your camping/mobile number and your welcome to join us (will let you know when my mail is fixed).

Indeed! not a true TR8, but nice nevertheless, and its a convertable, and it's not chocolate brown!
We did the welcome meet last year. v good! Would be good to hook up at some point.
We are also looking at doing a midnight stint on the Mulsanne St via the cross country route.
We are camping at Beausejour, our usual haunt!

Saw one silver-blue drophead TR8 in Arnage on Friday night. We weren't convinced it was genuine, but it sounded the business . . . . for a little while anyway. Suspect whoever was driving got carried away by the occasion. Revved very high, dropped the clutch, bang. Last seen being pushed down the road to the garage by the roundabout. Anyone know what happened? Probably got the loudest cheer of the evening, and then a generous round of sympathetic applause. I have a horrid feeling that it went home on a trailer.
