Free Entry to Bentley Meeting - TR's racing - 4th Aug

Pants - new alloy hubs fitted friday nite! The pins were pulled to over 70 ft/lb and check pre practice - wheel fell off (at slowest corners) on about the 4 lap of practice! So Qualy was useless - had not really got going so 19th from 39. Should have been in top 7 or 8 in that field. Joe was 3rd or 4th or something. Mike H 5th. The hub had not shattered but all bolts had come off in one go - found them all and put it all back together (inserts in wheels damage - took from wets). Pulled the studd in at upto 90ft/lbs but still did not fancy it!
Went fine and got up to about 10th about 2/3's in then spun - would have finished about 11th I think but on start of last lap huge vibration on the start of the back straight (thank god I got some warning - so came in at walking pace 1 lap down with wheel hanging just hanging on - half way down the studs!).
Just got fastest lap in class , "just" over Mike H - so car is fast now(Joe is in D as vented discs) and was a second faster than me and finished 2nd to Morgan with 2 of the top 4.0 Mogs just behind him - awesome effort.
Awesome effort by Joe though in his 6 coming a close second to Big Power Morgans with 2 similar behind.
Think I can get close to him (but then he does have a fantastic tubi exhaust and full Penske remote shocks (that no one else run) - gonna ask for our money back on alloy hubs today and get some new steel ones!
Next back there in 3 weeks in International track again.
