Does anyone know of any place the will produce a custom shaped pad?

I have a caliper I can't get a material suitable for road use.

Thanks

Not that I know of, best bet is to give them a call!

Nothing in the range I have available here to fit unfortunately.

Carbotech will as I had some weird shaped pads made for the front of the buggy.

Thanks.

Do they have a UK dealer? Google brings up US only.

Brummie who pops up on the forum now and again is a dealer for Carbon Lorraine pads.

Worst case scenario...is there a much larger pad you can have trimmed down to size ?

It's not a complicated shape to have to replicate

This could probably be chopped down easily enough

Stevie,

Carbone Lorraine only produce the pad in RC8+ compound. Probably less road friendly than DS3000 I have now.

Cutting a different pad is something I considered, but I now have a solution. I have drawn up some different pad abutment plates that will allow the use of AP racing CP3215 pad shapes. Just need to get the machined up.

Thanks

Steve

If you need stuff machined, give Ralph at www.componentengineering.co.uk a shout.

He can water jet and all sorts and very keen prices

Stevie,

I'm good for machining services. I work for BAE, so have access to just about anything. I'll bookmark him all the same.

I can make inquiries into whether they have it in another compound, it would not be the first time i have been lucky, But yes we only list RC8R with the vented backing plate.

RC5+ would be the first choice as this is primarly a road car.

I'd appreciate it if you ask.

Thanks
