Ordered numerous car and bike tyres from them and have had no problems at all.

I just think it's ridiculous that you can buy a tyre from here and get it couriered from Germany (or is it France?) to your doorstep significantly cheaper than you can buy the same tyre in the UK.

Must've ordered three sets with them now, no problems at all, and a lot cheaper than UK etailers.

black circles for, fair the cheapest and i cancelled an order and was simple. when you order you get a person to contact for any issues.

seems a lot of hassle to get them delivered and then sort out fitting just to save a few quid if any.

Hassle? They are delivered to a garage of your choice, who then fit them. I saved £100 for no hassle whatsoever

Well ha fking ha. Isn't the last laugh on me?

I ordered four tyres and get four tracking numbers. One per tyre, right?

Two tracking numbers ship, two don't. So I've got half my tyres, right?

Turn up at the tyre place I had them delivered to. "You've had two tyres delivered to you. They're for me".

"Four tyres"

"No, two"

"No, four. You come see"

And sure enough, being quite good at knowing the difference between two and four, I can see there are four tyres.

Would have been nice if Tyreleader had said what they had consigned. Might have saved my blood pressure a few notches.

This is the point at which my mother can be relied to offer up "well, I hope you're going to apologise to them" hehe

Well Ihad a good experience in contrast to many hehe

Got 2 large 295/35 19 in MPSS for approx £180 each wheres some places here wanted £350 each!
That is one cocking great tyre!!

I had a good experience as well; 2 x Kumho KU36 for £55-60 odd each (can't remember how much exactly) and they were on my doorstep in three days. Not a bad tyre BTW; on a light car at least.

Lol, I was bloody nervous ordering them but the price difference so great I just used a credit card for protection and took my chances. I'd always get them delivered to me though so I'm not driving a garage crazy checking where they are!

they are still a shower to deal with and highly dishonest. They have deliberately designed a business model to be unable to provide any customer service. And to ensure that any transaction they enter into results in them taking £25 per tyre (£100 per set) from a customer.

I think the warnings need to be repeated, underlined and increased.

They have legally relocated to Andorra - outside the EU - but still trading in Euro's. Now however not covered by EU laws and rules

I ordered some tyres for my wife's car - based on the reg number and picking a good brand (michelins!). When the order confirmation came in I spotted two words that I'd not seen on the original description - "DOT 2010, DEMO". These are 7 years old and are ex Demo tyres that have been displayed or mounted - which means they are not NEW!!!!!

cheating bunch of B*st!*ds

click cancel button within 5 mins of placing the order (on a Sunday evening) and wait (because I didn't know better!) and the next contact is ' we've shipped and here are your tracking nums' sent 4 hours after they contacted the shipping firm. Next day (now well beyond their 24 hour SLA) email saying we can't cancel because your tyres have shipped.

refusing delivery turned out to be impossible as they delivered to a neighbour (I was out), and at £25 per tyre was about 30% of the price.

no contact method is possible, no email, phone num (in Andorra) is a recorded message with no ability to leave a message.

This company trades under over 50 different names (almost 2 per EU country! 1 for consumer, 1 for trade sales) - that doesn't sound dodgy at all does it. They are owned by an Andorran legal entity that only has €100k in share capital (i.e. not worth pursuing as they will fold and then reappear 'phoenix like' a few hours later.

Caveat Emptor was never more appropriate - and if you do use them, please read EVERYTHING very carefully before sending any funds as it is impossible to alter or correct anything once you press the button. Don't get your address wrong, don't get the tyre size, speed or load rating wrong, don't need to change anything and you might be ok. Get anything wrong and you are down £100.

Bought my last two sets of motorcycle tyres through them. No issues and way cheaper than anyone. They came from Andorra of all places!

I have bought from them at least ten times spending between £500 and £1000 per time.

The above in no way reflects the experience I have had. I do read the descriptions carefully and double check sizes. I have had more hassle with cheapo crap tyres fitted by high street tyre companies.

Tyre Leader has lost its price advantage as the pound has weakened, I'd say, so I've not had occasion to use them for ages.

I would ask if you have ever had the need to use their customer service - if not, then I understand your comment. The shipping was fast and it all looked good - until I found something I’d overlooked (or that perhaps had been obfuscated) and needed to engage with their support. As soon as that happened - you lose. No other way to describe it.

If you never make an error, I can see they’d be ok. However I believe the real value of a business is in how it behaves when something goes wrong - and from all the reports I’ve seen when that happens Tyreleaders become impossible to deal with and its processes are designed not to help in any way - and to make you pay. That’s not a nice business to deal with.

The challenge these days is if searching the internet for deals - which deal is too good? With companies like Blackcircles and Openeo - tyreleaders looks at first glance marginally better pricing than them. And if no reason to avoid then - why not.

I put my tail as I feel that tyreleaders are trading on the good reputations created by many other internet retailers - they take advantage of this and then don’t behave the same way themselves.
