Hi

Just changed all the brake discs on my aston martin db9 2004 coupe and the handbrake caliber is very tight on the discs. I have looked through a lot of websites and found nothing, so hoping some one here can help me?

Thanks to anyone in advance

The handbrake piston has to be wound back as the new discs are now larger than the old discs, this can be done with a special tool or carefully with a large pair of grips. be careful not to pinch the rubber boot that goes round the handbrake piston. with the handbrake caliper and pads removed wind the piston clockwise and it should slowly wind itself inwards. You can then undo the adjusting nuts on the handbrake cable itself.and return them back to the shortend postition . refit the calipers and adjust the cables on both sides equal. about 3 clicks on the hand brake is about right
