:-) I think it is pretty good. SuperPro seem to manufacture thousands of different bushings, so the chance of finding a simple eyelet bush should be pretty good.

Gaz have probably got something on the shelf, I've bough bushes for other dampers from them before.

I've just made up a set of bushes for my TR7. I bought a 30cm length of polyurethane rod for £13. Machined it in the lathe & used some top hat inserts.




Can't comment on what they'd be like in a shock but it's looking promising for a control arm.

If you have to use polyurethane bushes I strongly recommend using stainless steel for the crush tubes. When (not if) mild steel crush tubes corrode, they tend to seize within the bush and this will cause high cyclic stress on the suspension components and mounting brackets which can lead to fatigue failure.

Quite a few 7 style cars have had the wishbones break or brackets broken away from the chassis due to this.
