Could you look at these brake fittings please
Discussion
I've just had a practice go at making some lines with din/ISO or commonly known as bubble flares.
Din flares are square shouldered if you look at the new grey fitting you will see it's flat at the end where it mates with the flare.
The new brass 10x1 metric fittings I've bought are tapered at the end as if for imperial double flares. But these are 10x 1 metric fittings
Good to go?
Cheers
Personally, I'd go with them. The flare you've made looks neat enough so I would just assemble the lines, bleed and then press hard for several seconds to see it the pedal moves at all. If not, and there's no sign of leakage at the new joints, then I wouldn't worry about the minor differences in design. In my experience either copper or Kunifer pipe flares accommodate such variations, steel lines I don't know about.
