Can locking rings be used as spacers on shocks?
Discussion
Say a car is sitting too low on new springs.
Where the spring length determines ride height and the shock absorber doesn't have enough threading to raise the base of the spring seat.
Is it possible to add a locking ring to the top of the spring seat, or just below the spring seat, to effectively prop up / raise the point where the bottom of the spring would sit? That would make the spring seat higher thus raising the height.
Or is that just bad practice.......
