After deciding to correct the castor angle on my kit i came up with this idea to gauge both castor and camber angles, the mounting holes i used run parallel to the ball joint fixings so i just marked out the castor angle on the ' gauge ' i made
the camber is set at neutral,
The gauge is marked at 5 and 7 degrees, showing set at 7, camber is neutral

Opinions please, any criticism accepted ( leaving myself wide open there )

It's difficult without seeing a bigger view or it in the flesh, but it looks ok. Obviously make sure the car is sat level (front to back both sides) and that both hubs are at the same toe angle. I don't think you need telling that castor angle changes with the toe or when some lock is put on.

Thanks for the reply, I had a feeling I was doing OK but wanted other opinions, I had the car supported under the bottom ball joint so that it should have been sat as it would be on the road.

Thanks again, much appreciated

I think the trickiest bit for any such work is ensuring the car/floor themselves are 100% true and level

FFS my garage floor is like the Himalayas !
