Jaguar XJ6 suspension
Discussion
I have decided to keep my car, instead of scrapping it, but I am advised that the suspension needs sorting:
From worn bushes, to heavily corroded springs, to cracked anti roll bars, the suspension is a mess.
So my question: how hard would a complete suspension update cost, and how hard would it be to do myself? Has anyone done something like this before on a similar car?
Thanks in advance

Haven't worked on Jag suspension for a while, but from what I remember:
- Everything is big and fecking heavy. Big jacks, big stands, extra jacks for manoeveuing big lumps of suspension about.
- You'll need big sockets and breaker bars
- It is easier to bite the bullet and take the whole lot out. Fiddling around repacing bits is hard, just drop the lot on the floor and have at it.
- Get an impact gun, electric if you don't have a compressor
I rebuilt the back end of my dad's Jag when I was 16, on the garage floor, so it can't be impossible (still works!)
