BKK Brake line question [with picture] Noob question.
Discussion
I need to overhaul my BBK on my E36328i they are VTTR 6pot.
Does the entire brake line plus that nut attached to the back of the caliper come out, or is it just the brake line part? If I try and undo the main nut plus the line [on the lower part of the image, the entire brake line starts spinning around...
Thanks.

Offbrand Taiwanese brake kit, all bets are off.Does the entire brake line plus that nut attached to the back of the caliper come out, or is it just the brake line part? If I try and undo the main nut plus the line [on the lower part of the image, the entire brake line starts spinning around...

But I'd assume the hex head of the union unscrewed from the caliper, and the 90deg elbow on the end of the flexi pipe was free to rotate within it.
It is a male-male fitting screed into the caliper than the hose fitting screwed onto that.
Hold the hex closest to the caliper with a spanner and undo the other one.
Unless there is a restraint on the hose to prevent the 90deg fitting from moving, it's a bad way to do things in case anything was to try and lever the hose and undo the nut.
But I've seen various kits use this.
Although if you're needing to ask such a basic question.....should you really be working near your brakes ?
