Hi,

I'm looking for some advice re buying spacers to fit my winter wheels /tyres. The wheels were originally fitted to an m135i 2014 1-series with 5 mm spacers to clear the brake calipers. I now want to fit those wheels on my 2007 e91 3 series, which I can see means I will need some fairly chunky spacers (if they will fit at all).

The oem wheels I'm currently using are style 158 which means they're 8x17 ET 34.

The wheels I want to fit are 8x18 ET 46 (5x120pcd)

I presume this means that I'll need 12mm of spacers? In order to push the wheels out a touch, I've ordered 2x15mm for the front and 2x20mm for the rear (+ extended bolts). Can anyone reassure me that I've done the right thing?

Thanks

Tom

Yep, 12mm, so 15mm will be fine. Hopefully the rear has a bit more space for the 20mm spacers.
Longer studs/bolts needed at both ends.

If the old set up had a tight centre bore location make sure the wheel spacers have too.

Yep, forgot to say, they should be hub centric.
