ABS warning light on after wheel hub change

Hi
I changed my front passenger side wheel hub bearing with

build in abs sensor on my zafira b 2013.
After i done the job the abs light come on after a test drive, i

then put back the old wheel hub and after a test drive the abs

light went off. So i send the new hub back and waiting for a

replacement one.has any body got any idea why the abs light

did come on with the new hub? could they supplying me with

the wrong hub or is it just faulty?

It's possible that you've been sold a non ABS hub, one that doesn't have that the pulse ring built into the bearing seal. Either that or it was just faulty

Sometimes OBD code faults need a bit of running before they reset.

Drive it about, apply the brakes a few times, and it should sort out.

I've had "oil low" that didn't respond immediately to a refill, "tyre pressure low" that needed a few miles running, after reinflating.
