Ive had a repo'd Ibiza on my drive since September when I bought it at auction, but the seats have started to mould, and the interior is generally a tip

I've looked at wet vacs, but they're quite expensive, so has anyone had any luck with steam cleaners? I've got lots of Autoglym interior shampoo, so I'm thinking steam cleaners work by steaming the muck out?

Has anyone got a recommendation for one?

Thanks in advance

Yup, I use a Karcher steam cleaner on out RAV4 seats. It works a treat.

Surely you have to suck the dirty water out of your seats after steaming it?

Yep, I'm also going to get a wet/dry vac, which is about 6th of the cost of a wet vac

I hired a Rug Doctor a few years ago for the house and did the car too. Best do it in the summer really so it can dry out properly.

You don't need to as you use washable towelling covers which soak up any dampness and dirt. The seats are dry after a couple of hours in average temperatures.
