I've discovered some nice deep scratches along the passenger side of my car. One set of 3 smallish scratches are on the passenger front door below the door mirror. The second set of scratches are on the passenger front wing.

Are is it possible to only repair the affected area or does it require a full panel respray?

I appreciate it's hard to tell without seeing the damage, so wondering what the normal procedure is?

It's a silver car if that makes any difference.

Cheers smile

all panels will need to be completely clear coated.so for blowing in the silver ,it will be hard to keep in a confined small part of the panel, you will notice the blow in.To blend the silver in properly you will to expand the color more to blend in.

As you say difficult without seeing it, if there's a swage or moulding then its feasible to go to that without doing the full panel, but as has already been pointed out silver is a real tricky colour to keep small. No harm in getting a few quotes though, good place to go would be the smartmap.
