I've bought a winter shed of a car for the wife to use (it's a Shogun Pinin) but she's not overly happy with the aromatic interior.

If you can imagine a mix of dog, feet, smoke and sick - well, it's not quite as nice as that little lot.
So, what's the magic remedy for a cure?

What about one of these - http://www.autogeek.net/odor-bomb-car-fogger.html -and would it remove the scent of a dead body?

Or steam cleaning/ shampooing every orifice?

Help urgently needed...

Thanks chaps.

Deep cleaning with anti bacteria/odour killing chemical is the way forward.

Get some all purpose cleaner and give all the plastics a good scrubbing, hoover the entire car out (remove seats etc if you have time or can be bothered) - There may be stuff hiding under there contributing to the smell!

Secondly wet-vac / shampoo all fabrics and carpets with a strong cleaning solution or again spray APC (4:1) all over fabrics, scrub and then extract with the vax.

That's your best bet really but if it has Air con replace the cabin filter and maybe use one of those air con cleaners that come in a spray can, they work ok but do that last after cleaning all fabric, carpets (incl Rooflining) etc as it's likely that's where the smells are coming from....
