Chaps. I have a patch of lacquer lifting on my Range Rover. It is at the bottom of the rear window near (but not under) the seal where the window meets the bodywork. It is about the size of a 10p piece. From what I can see the paint underneath is not damaged. Whats the best way to deal with it? Can I sand the lacquer back and re-lacquer it with a spray can or is that going to be very difficult / look awful? Any words of wisdom gratefully received.

Now the base coat has been exposed, the only solution is to repaint and lacquer. This is a classic SMART repair. Try the smartmapuk.co.uk for a local repairer.
