MGF has been unused for 11 months. Mould?
Discussion
My F has been off the road with various mechanial issues for the last 11 months, I now have the cash to fix it, and will hopefully all being well, get it MOT'd this weekend.
As many of you will be aware, the build quality on these cars leaves a lot to be desired, so the inside has therefore become damp, and this is some, not a lot, but some mould on the interior. Noticed it at the weekend on the (leather) headrests for instance.
Whats the best way of getting this off?

Weird as it may sound but the best think to kill/clean the mould is neat (cheap) vodka!! The alcohol acts as a cleaner and also removes the mouldy smell. Just dab some on a cloth and rub it in!!!
Could you imagine the look on the coppers face if you do this and then get pulled over lol.I'd go with an apc and then make sure fully dried out. This is I'll be using on my mx5. Although I've done it the other way around. Dried it out and will be cleaning at the weekend. Just been too busy enjoying driving it rather than being bothered to clean it
