Cleaning Alcantara Seats

Hi, have just got a car fitted with Blue Alcantara and the drivers seat looks tired.
Is there a special way to refresh this and get it looking like new?
Alcantara web site says put in washing machine, not practical but is leading me to think that a weak soapy water may do the job.

I had the same problem recently- its truely horrible stuff Alcantara. Its chemically pretty tough, Ive never managed to stain it with a cleaner. Ive even tried paint thinners on the stuff to remove grease without harm, but if its just general muck one of the foam carpet cleaners / stain removers seems to work reasonably well.
