Just applied wax... (bloody Scotland)

So I just finished applying a second coat of wax to my car, however with Scotland being Scotland, the very second I finished the last panel it started pissing down.

Now, as you can see, the wax is still on there, and it may need to remain there until I get back from work.

Will this ruin my application? Have I just wasted my time?

Generally speaking (depends on wax a little I guess (in that is it normally easy/hard to buff off!)) should be fine. Dry the car gentley with whatever you use normally, then buff off the wax and pretend it didnt rain

Then slap some more on for good measure!
