My car has stains on the seats that I tried to tackle yesterday with some interior cleaner mixed with water followed by a wet and dry vac. I've made the problem worse!
I remember when I used a valeter they had a cream that they applied which took everything off, made the fabric cleaner and smelt better, with no marks left.

Problem is, they're not there anymore - would anyone have any recommendations of products to try?

If you let the seat get too wet then you will be constantly drawing dust/dirt from the cushion up and into the seat cover.

this is what I find happens anyway.

A proper valeter may have a better idea though.

You should find steam cleaning gets this out - It really will make a difference to the fabrics and doesn't get it too wet like using the wet vac.

See here, mainly done with steam http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.p...
