Valeting spray stinks!!

I had my nearly new car washed at one of those hand car wash places. I told them exterior only but before I could stop him the dhead opened the passenger door and sprayed some stinky carpet freshener in there that overpowered that new car smell. I've taken out the floor mat in the hope that the smell will disappear. The mat smells like cheap perfume - any suggestions on how to remove it from the mat?

If you want to do it properly, use a wet vac to wash the mat.
Otherwise you can try with a bit of interior shampoo,
brush, then dry with a couple of microfiber cloths.

Then apply chemical guys stripper scent into the air vents for the fresh smell of hookers.
