I have put off getting my bodywork detailed for 18 months but eventually got it booked in to get it corrected.

I decided on Griffiths Detailing as he has done some of Amari's cars and a couple of other guys I know and he came highly recommended.

I left Nottingham at 6am for the 2 hours drive to Sealand near Chester to be there for 8am and I only had 1 day for him to correct the swirls and seal the paint so it was going to be tight. It was the first time I had met Chris and he was very good at explaining what his plan was, I left the car with him and I got a lift into Cheshire Oaks to shop all day.

I got the call about 7 hours later to say it was done and I was collected to come back to Chris' workshop.

He said ideally he would of wanted 2 days on it to get it even better but it looked spot on and I was amazed at how well he'd done in the time, I did have quite a bit of swirling before as the car had been car washed to death. It has really brought the Lapis blue colour back to looking like new again.

Below are some photos he took during the correction. I'm really happy with the attention to detail and would not hesitate to drive the 4 hour round trip for his work again. I have no connection with Chris but I just wanted show the pics as I wanted to share.

He's a good guy, and prices sensibly as well.

yes I agree, he's a nice chap to deal with. I heard he was now moving to a new bigger unit near Liverpool.
