I pick up my new toy on saturday and I'd like a little info on how best to care for it. Obviously, no waxing but I understand regular shampoos are a no-no as well. Are there any products that are recommended for removing dirt and grime as I don't believe water alone will suffice, especially as I park on the street. Oh, and I live in Glasgow, so it rains continually as well.

If your doing it yourself then the swissvax kit is probably ideal for you.

If you want someone to do it and then show you how best to look after it, then (one of many in your area) give incredibledetail(.co.uk) 07547 735593 a call and he will help you out.

Any good free-rinsing shampoo will do the job fine - Bilt Hamber and Dodo Juice are two such shampoos.
BH's Auto-foam, if you've an inclination to go down the foaming pre-wash route is equally free-rinsing, before you set upon the finer traffic film with either of the aforementioned shampoos.

Great, thanks for the advice, thats the sort of thing I'm looking for. The damn thing is costing me a fortune so there are no spare pennies for any form of detailing. I'll need to get handy with a sponge and bucket(s).
