What would you recommend for our garage - we have a number of cars coming in where te seats are cloth and are showing signs of general stains etc. also to be used for carpets and headlining.

Would want to be able to turn the car around as part of other work so don't want the seats damp etc afterwards for too long.

Have seen the normal vet n vac and also steam cleaners. What solutions do you need to use etc.

Budget up to £500 or so

I use an autoglym/autosmart (cant remember which) product called brisk, used with a damp cloth works well, wont leave the seats wet but does help with bringing them up nice, not great for stain removal though. For proper stain removal I will truck wash and scrub the seats then wet vac, for the remaining damp I usually use a heat gun to speed up the drying process.

Ring your local autoglym and they will come down, show you which products work and how, plus prices.

You can get a George (wet vac) cheap and will last years.
