iam after some info on prepping my car before spraying.my car is about 15 years old and whilst its still in good condition it is starting to show its age (rust bubbles on arches,stone chips,flacking lac on bumpers etc).i have the use of a garage with compressor and some tools and i did a little bit in a body shop many moons ago just rubbing down new panels etc.i dont mind putting in the graft(also gets me away from the mr and kids) to do it just need a few pointers in what sand paper etc to use and also about the new water based paint thing i have heard about?all info is appreciated

if you are dry sanding you want to finish with 500 as a minimum, for getting rust and stuff out just go as coarse as u need 2
