Under bonnet alloy panelling

Hi,

Have often seen under bonnet Aluminium panelling that is rivetted together on track/race type cars and are looking for a little guidance.

I need to make a pedal box cover and battery box cover for under the bonnet on my Marcos and thought it would look smart and functional in this material. I have searched the web/youtube for some guidance but very little information found.

Can somebody point me in the right direction re materials, working with aluminium and can this be done without any proper bending machines to work with,
