Cannot rate Paul Ralhan at GLASSTEC AUTOMOTIVE highly enough.

Had, what I thought a relatively minor, problem with my rear view mirror in my Boxster S.
Porsche Reading solution, after removing the mirror completely from the windscreen, was nothing but a complete replacement of the windscreen which they could supply and fit for £1,100.

Paul at Glasstec Automotive resolved the issue yesterday for essentially no cost.
Obviously very pleased.
Glasstec Automotive focus primarily on Sports/prestige cars and specialise in Porsche.
Friendly, very knowledgeable, no b/s - an excellent find.
Suggest he makes an excellent first point of contact for fellow PH's in the London/home counties area.

cheers, James

I've not had to have a windscreen replaced for quite a few years, but when/if I do, Glasstec would be my first point of call.

I have had the pleasure of working with Paul for a day whilst on a busmans holiday last year. I've been fitting glass for almost 25 years and I can happily say that Paul is one of the best fitters I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

But being a good fitter isn't enough is it? You need to be passionate about your standards, business and customer service. Paul scores 10/10 on all these points too. The rest of the trade makes it very easy for the likes of Paul to thrive, diamonds really stand out in a pile of coal eh.

Thanks for the kind words.

Just to clarify, and in light of a couple of impostors recently, not to be confused with any mis, or differently spelled versions of 'GLASSTEC'.

+1

Excuse blatant thread bump, but wanted Paul of Glasstec to get due credit for his work on my car today.

Glassman arrived on time with a shiny new Porsche screen, and fitting was undertaken in a highly professional manner, so I couldn't be happier. Another Glassman recommendation from me, and Pistonheads proves its worth once again. Doublethumbupthumbup
