car cover ruined paint

Covers are crap anyway
Worse than crap. Wind and rain will be constantly moving the cover over the paintwork and even the faintest layer of outdoor road dust under the cover will abrade the paintwork horribly, as the OP and others have found out the hard way.I don't like to dwell on the misery of others so I would like to know why the OP thought that a cover would be a good idea.
How are they sold? warning to others and all that.

Give Julian a call/drop by in broad walk, as you go up past red lion hill, take the second left, as if going into the dealer, then as the rank of shops end, between the houses theres a path, go up there, take the second right and he's in there. He starts very early, and leaves about 1pm I think, but he does a good job. Treated a quite serious case a door rust on very thin metal and did a good job, and has done favours in the past.
If you want his number, PM me (left it at home)
