DA polisher - health risk??

I bought a cheap DA polisher on eBay - unbranded Chinese made thing. Used it for the first time yesterday.

HOLY st - the amount of vibration from it is unreal - my wrists ache like hell today and at the faster speeds I was struggling to keep a hold of it!

Are they all like this to some extent? I assume the cheapness is a factor - it kept vibrating loose the bolts for the handle

How can I reduce the risk of long term damage to myself?

Buy a rotary.

I've got an old porter cable, it does vibrate but not even nearly enough to back out the bolts. Suggest you deposit in the nearest bin, If you look on DW you can get a DA for just under £100, I think the name is kestrel ?
