So i have a bottle of Simonez three in one car shampoo that i bought when my old car needed an emergency wash.

Having just bought a shiney new car that actually has decent body/paintwork i am being a bit more particular about what i want to use.

Will i make my life harder in the future to keep the paintwork looking nice if i keep using this stuff until it runs out?

I try to use a quality shampoo on all my cars. Having used those three in or two in one shampoos in the past, I was never impressed with the suds action or cleaning ability. Therefore feel you have more chance of scratching the paintwork, as opposed to using the two bucket method, a decent shampoo that does not strip wax and using a decent wash mitt.

If you want to know about good products (shampoo) and technique, from a very high level, always found the Polishedbliss website pretty good. I have no association with them, just think they provide excellent products and superb service!

Good luck

I generally use two buckets as i used to let my previous car get so filthy before cleaning it it would have been like giving it a mud bath hehe I am going to assume that there is no proper wax on there at the moment as i am not sure most 'normal' people bother doing anything other than taking it to the local esso for a wash every 3 months.

I will have a look at that website, i am all for a bit of procrastination when i am supposed to be doing something else biggrin thanks!

This stuff is absolutely amazing, wee bit pricy but well worth it, combined with a good mitt it will have your motor looking great and it smells amazing too, local guy too so all good...
