Any recommendations on where to buy cleaning kit?

I had a nice wooly wash mit (think it may be an autobrite) one which is now in 100 pieces after less than a year.

Also had a snow foam lance which worked brilliantly for about 8 months, and now isn't so foamy. It is a brass fitting on a plastic bottle, which seems to be a bit of an incompatible combo for longevity!

I'd also like a reel for my pressure washer hose as it is a real pain to untangle.

Matt at http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/ has always delivered a first class service and stocks must brands.

Ref the blocked lance - you may need to change/clean the guaze http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/shop/replacement-snow...

Hmmm that's interesting about the lance. I didn't realise they had anything 'serviceable' in them.

Yeah looks like that although the bayonet fitting is brass.

I've stripped it down as far as I can without a gigantic spanner. Filter looked brand new but there was a fair bit of what I assume is thread locking compound gunking up the foam inlet so that could be the issue.

Need to finish stripping it down then rebuild and see!

When using a lance....allow the water to flow through it after snow foaming for about 45 seconds.....this keeps the gauze clean and will also keep the lance working for years not months.....just rinse frequently.

CleanYourCar is a great website for kit as are Bilt Hamber, GTechniq and Meguairs UK.
