Decent car wash mitt?
Discussion
Deep pile lambs wool mitts are the way to go if you are prepared to look after them. Although I use Meguairs microfibre mitts on the sills, door shuts and wheels I wouldn't risk using them on the more visible/critical areas.
I’m currently using a Dodo Tribble mitt (about £12 - £13 from Ebay) which is probably the best lambs wool mitt I’ve used so far. It has a decent deep pile and seems to be holding together.
The Halfords lambs wool mitts are a good call but the quality can vary. Some have a decent deep pile others don’t – just make sure you take out ALL the staples when removing the cardboard packaging sleeve. I very nearly missed one on the last one I bought. Now that would have ruined my day!

I've had a lot of success with Auto Finesse's mitt recently. Previously had been using microfiber sponges - this is a definite improvement. Might be worth looking into if anyone is still after one.
